How to make Idli
Idli is a soft and fluffy steamed cake made of fermented rise.These are one of the Healthiest protein packed Breakfasts form south india.These are served with a chutney and or with a tiffin sambar.The nutration content of idli is very high and it is said to be low in calories.Those who are looking to lose weight,can try this easy yet quick recipe.so how you can served this food followingthe below points.
Ingredients:2 cup Rise,3 cup urad dal,1 tbsp fenugreek seeds,salt as required to taste,2 tbsp refined oil,water as required.
Procedure: 1)Rinse urad dal and Fengreek seeds in water for 2 times.
2)soak urad dal,fenugreek seeds and Basmati rise together in 1 cup water for 3 hours.
3)Rinse both parboiled and basmati rise together in water for 2 times.soak them together in 3 cups of water for arround 3 hours.
4)and basmati rise entire the mixer grinder,until the smooth texture.gradually add more water and grind until smooth.to grind 3 cup urad dal,you would need approx.The amount of water required greatly depends on the quality of urad dal,so add water gradually and only as required.
5)Transfer it into a big container.
6)place moulds in the steamer.cover steamer with a lid and steam the idlis for 15 mins over medium flame,then remove idli moulds form the steamer and let them cool for 5 mins.remove idlis with a wet spoon,this will help you remove easily form the mould.SO GET READY IDLI TO BE SERVED.
